Community Centers
Bringing financial literacy beyond the classroom and into the heart of your community.
Who we work with
Dollar Matters partners with community centers, public libraries, youth organizations, after-school programs, and faith-based community groups to reach young people who may not be in a traditional school setting. We believe financial education should meet people where they are.
How it works
Scheduling a session is simple. Reach out to us with your organization's details and we'll match you with a team of trained volunteers in your area. We handle all the logistics, materials, facilitation guides, and follow-up resources, at no cost to you.
- Sessions run 45–90 minutes and can be adapted to your audience
- Available on evenings and weekends to fit community schedules
- Bilingual volunteers available in select cities
- Suitable for participants ages 14–24
- All resource guides provided at no charge
What we cover
Our community sessions cover the same core curriculum as our school workshops, budgeting, saving, credit, interest, taxes, and predatory lending. We tailor the content to the specific needs and questions of your group.
