Our Programs
Free, peer-led financial education delivered directly to your school or community center.
High School Workshops
Our flagship program brings trained college volunteers into high school classrooms for hands-on, 45–90 minute workshops. Sessions are interactive, jargon-free, and designed to meet students where they are. We cover the topics schools most often skip, budgeting, credit, taxes, and predatory lending.
- Available to any high school in our service area, completely free
- Sessions customized to what your students need most
- All materials provided, including take-home resource guides
- Flexible scheduling: single session or multi-visit series
Community Center Sessions
Dollar Matters also partners with community centers, libraries, and youth organizations to reach young people outside the classroom. Our community sessions follow the same peer-led format and cover the same core financial literacy topics.
- Evening and weekend sessions available
- Bilingual volunteers available upon request
- Suitable for ages 14–24
- No registration fee, free for all participants
Virtual Learning
For schools and organizations that prefer a remote format, we offer virtual workshops via video call. Our volunteers are trained to deliver the same engaging, interactive experience online, using digital activities and live Q&A.
- Works on any device with a browser and internet connection
- Live sessions or pre-recorded module options
- Ideal for remote schools, hybrid programs, or large districts
